Awning

Awning windows pivot on side mounted stays and open out from the bottom, saving space. We offer both regular and thermally broken options
Hardware:
The most common operator is the chain winder which is cost efficient and easy to key and restrict in opening. Truth hardware is optional in conjunction with non friction stays. It is also possible to fit cam handles however fly screens then have to be removable if used.
Pros:
Increased light and ventilation, cost-effective; easy to restrict opening and key openable in light rainy conditions.
Cons:

Casement

Casement windows are side-hinged.Because the entire sash swings to the side, casements provide maximum breezes and views. At Ecoview we can manufacture any design possible within the limits of the casement sash where the width should not be more than the height.
Hardware:
The most common operator used for casement windows is the truth operator. Truth operators can be fitted in two different types being the single arm operator or the dual arm operator. At Ecoview the standard operator is the dual arm operator which allows the outside glass to be cleaned from inside. In both cases the sash (moving part) can be operated from behind the flyscreen or louvre shutter. In case of traditional hardware the flyscreen must be removed to operate the sash.
Pros:
Great looks; Increased ventilation; closes tightly to prevent energy loss; unobtrusive hardware; in conjunction with truth dual action the glass on the outside can be cleaned from the inside which is a great benefit for first floor or higher windows.
Cons:
Large casements can weigh themselves down specially in double glass, and become hard to close and latch, cranking mechanism can break, won’t accommodate high winds when left open.
